Land Use / Management Changes

A relatively large grip system has been blocked in the Swine Clough catchment (see CRO_sc2). The total length affected is approx. 0.5 km. Low stocking levels are being maintained in the headwaters for habitat regeneration. Two coniferous forested patches (approx. 0.025 km2 each) have been logged.

Channel Description

The channel cross-section at the instrument location is provided below. Datum is taken as the top of the diver access tube (red bar). Width is measured from the left-hand side bank when looking downstream, with locations to left of the diver tube taken as negative and those to the right positive.
